2023-24 PCISA SoCal 5 Gold

Summary

Saturday, March 16:

Conditions both days were optimal, with light to medium breeze allowing PRO Jackie Hollander to crank out 17 races in each division. Races were competitive and quick, with just 14 boats in each fleet. This was our final SoCal of the school year, and I'd like to thank all the sailors, coaches, PROs and others who helped to pull off another great season.

This years series winner, and the recipient of the Robert Anderson Trophy, was Corona Del Mar's Nevin Elliott, who with crews Isabel Lewis, Olivia Corbin, Kyren Shirar, and Ashley Turner demonstrated persistence and skill while working their way up the leader board at each event. Check out their results at each SoCal Regatta: 8th place at Socal One; 4th place at SoCal Two; 2nd place at SoCal Three; and 1st place at SoCals Four and Five. Well done, team!

That's a wrap. Thanks again to all of you who help make these friendly and competitive regattas a reality for our high school sailors.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
