2024 NESSA Fleet Racing Championship (O'Day)

Summary

Sunday, May 12:

Racing started at 1100 with wind of approximately 5 knots coming from S / SSE. Four races were completed in each division. The fourth race of B division was abandoned twice due to right shifts in the breeze and was ultimately shortened due to a dying breeze. Sailors waited for breeze to return before returning to dock at 1500.

Congratulations to Saint Georges for coming in first overall and to Hotchkiss and Brunswick who will also move on to represent NESSA at the ISSA Fleet Racing National Championship (Mallory Trophy). Congrats also to Portsmouth Abbey, Greenwich Academy, Barrington HS, and Tabor Academy for qualifying for the Phebe King regatta.

One hearing was held with no redress given.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
