Sailors faced shifty conditions on the Anacostia throughout the day. The breeze began from a roughly northerly direction, with regular oscillations of 30 degrees in both directions. The breeze shifted to a more westerly direction by the afternoon.
RC was able to get 10 total races off, amidst the shifts and lulls. Wind speeds during racing varied between 5 and 10 knots in sunny skies.
Thank you to all coaches for being here and an extra shout-out to those that heard protests. We appreciate all those visiting for taking the time to pick up after themselves and leave our facility looking clean.
