The MBL Freshman Sophomore Regatta was sailed in cloudy and unseasonably cold conditions. Wind was ENE-ish at 5 - 10 knts with shifts and puffs coming from both sides. The course was adjusted back and forth over a 15 degree range. The challenge was to get to the lifted puffs and stay away from the lulls. There was tight racing all day resulting in several ties. In both divisions there was a tie for second and in the overall regatta there was a tie between the top two teams and a tie between the next two. After the tiebreakers were settled, Sharon was first, Duxbury second, Manchester Essex third and Sharon 2 fourth.
