A wonderful day for a high school sailing regatta complete with the USCG Barque Eagle departing the Thames River in the afternoon. The forecasted SE breeze filled in earlier and was stronger than expected and racing was underway by 11 am. The LA2 course was shortened for the final set of A and B Division races as the wind had moderated from 15-18 mph to 10 mph. A total of 16 races were completed by 4:30 pm with 8 in each division. No protests were filed as the sailors exonerated themselves on the water. A huge thank you to all the volunteers who helped out both on the water and on shore. Race Committee; Liz Sistare, Frank Murphy, Jamie Rice. Mark/Safety Boat; Annie Longo, Ellie Menezes, Sarah Steere. Protest Committee; Bob LaFrance, Harlan Fredericksen. Congratulations to the teams that have advanced to the NESSA Girl's Championship (Herreshoff Trophy) on Saturday, May 25th.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
