Racing began around 10:30AM in marginal conditions with an ENE zephyr providing 4-8 knots of wind in the outer reaches of Manchester Harbor. Deputized by the sailable breeze, the Race Committee completed four races for each division.
Looking to maximize racing time, a single race rotation was attempted. During the first beat of Race 5B, competing sailors were graced with the presence of Manchester's characteristically fervent spring sea-breeze. Enhanced by the inflow from far-inland thunderstorms, the wind grew from around 8 knots to ~26 knots in mere minutes, along with complementary wave action. With the wind taking the fleet by surprise, multiple sailors joined their mainsails for an unscheduled dip in the Atlantic.
Many thanks to visiting coaches for their assistance in righting capsized boats and aiding sailors.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
