With seven teams competing, the T2 regatta was sailed as a combined division event with 14 boats on each start.
Sailors started the day with 5-8 kts WSW wind conditions that built throughout the day. Combined divisions made for more competitive starts and roundings. By the fourth race, the wind had begun to pick up with occasional gusts up to 15 kts. Race 8 saw a significant increase in sustained speed, up to 12-15 for most of the race with gusts in the mid-20s.
Sailors broke for lunch at 13:00 following race 8. At 13:40, Race Committee assessed the building conditions on the water and - combined with the forecast of gusts building to the 30s that afternoon - determined that racing was done for the day.
Thanks to all for coming out to DC and to the staff for a smooth, safe, and fun day of racing.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
