On Saturday, May 10th 11 NESSA teams arrived at Bristol YC to overcast skies and 7-10kts of breeze from the NW with a flat sea. After the skippers meeting, racing got underway quickly sailing a W4 course for the first race, and a W3 for the second race which allowed for finishes near the rotation docks. Races typically took 12+ minutes.
As the morning progressed the wind increased to 15-18kts with higher - shifty gusts with some minor sea causing several capsizes. This continued into the afternoon and we were able to get in 12 good races, 6 in each Division, prior to the 1600 deadline. There were no protests that affected the final finishes.
Thank you to all of our volunteers, the 4 jury members, our scoring team, the NESSA rep Ben Greenfield, Race Committee, and Dean Batcirak who adeptly oversaw the boat swaps making them quick and efficient.
Good Luck to the top 3 qualifiers at the O'Day Finals at New London, CT.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
