Racing was abandoned for Saturday, April 12 due to extreme weather conditions in Toms River. Racing will begin as soon as possible after the 0900 hours report time on Sunday with a NOR amendment that removes Sunday's cut-off time in effect.
Eleven NJISA teams were able to race on Sunday with temperatures reaching the 50s and a puffy northwest wind that ranged between 8-14 knots. Sailing began just after 1000 hours and 16 races were completed by 1630, ten W4 races and six W3 race.
Christian Brothers Academy and Southern Regional remained tight in the standings for most of the series. A strong finish to the day by CBA cemented the win by 17 points over Southern. Donovan Catholic finished third, while Ranney edged out Point Pleasant Beach for fourth place.
In A Division, CBA's Cole Buczkowski, Matthew Dupree and Seth Santos sailed a consistent series to win the division. Point Beach's Richard Pokorny and Sage Sakowicz were second in A Division.
In B Division, CBA's Christopher Small, Christian Diaz and Alton DeOliveria posted only firsts and seconds to win their division. Southern's Jude Ryon, Gannon Botwinick, Noah Tallman and Ella Linkewich were second in B Division.
The top four teams - CBA, Southern, Donovan and Ranney - have qualified for the MASSA Spring Fleet Race Championship and qualifier for the Mallory Fleet Race Nationals. The next four teams - Point Beach, Pingry, Seton Hall Prep and Summit - have qualified for the MASSA Spring Invitational.
Thanks to Dave Magno and John Paggi for serving as Race Committee, as well as Dr. Randall Nunn and Jody Lutz for manning the mark boats. As always, thank you to TRYC for hosting us and to the BBYRA for continuing our partnership with the FJ fleet.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
