It was a great day on the water for 19 Varsity teams closing out the South Points regular season, with the breeze locking in at 12-16kts from a steady, northerly direction that allowed the course to be set very close to the shore for fantastic viewing and fun sailing. 10 races were sailed and scored in A Division, and 10 races were scored in B Division, with one race being re-sailed due to some concern about the timing of a restart on the day's only general recall. The PRO and the on-the-water staff would like to specifically note the extremely high level of sportsmanship and seamanship exhibited by the Ransom Everglades team in assisting with the righting and recovery of another competitor during the event.
