The Tier 2 regatta had 10 teams. Day started out sunny with a fresh breeze. The start was postponed until 11:00 to allow the gusts to diminish. The wind direction held steady. The wind speed average throughout the day was 12 with gusts to 19 knots. No course corrections were necessary. The day ended around 1500 after completing 6 races for each division. Early in the day there were several capsizes, but all were able to self recover. SMR sailing appreciates the help and support from the parents making the day successful.
