Sixteen teams from 7 area schools reported to Mill Creek in Hampton VA to find clear skies, temps over 80 degrees, and initially westerly winds in the low to mid teens mph with gusts slightly higher. Winds built throughout the morning, clocking to SW and then settling at WSW, while building to the high teens with gusts in the low 20's by the end of racing.
Teams were able to complete 8 single division races on a W-4 course before the wind was unsailable. Maury Team 1 took first place with 4 bullets and 28 points. Kecoughtan Team 1 followed close behind in second with 31 points. And, Maury Team 3 took third place with 42 points.
