Clipper Challenge 2026

Summary

Saturday, April 4:

Racing was delayed for about an hour for high winds. When the breeze abated, to 16-18 knots around 11 races were started in a northerly breeze. For the last 1-2 races of the first round robin, the breeze shifted to the ENE and built to close to 20 knots. After a lunch break and rotation, the wind continued to move east with races sailed to finish the second round robin. Third round races were only sailed to break 1-1 ties and potential ties due to pending protests. Greely stopped sailing early due to a lack of available sailors.
