NWISA Ranking Regatta #2 (Last Chance Qualifier)

Summary

Saturday, March 28:

We had a great day of sailing, completing six races in each division. The morning was sunny with light wind from the east, which shifted north and became moderate as the cloud cover rolled in. We are grateful for the use of Bainbridge Island Marina, which put us close to the race course, enabled fast rotations, and allowed us to get so many races in. Great job Race Committee, sailors, coaches, volunteers, and parents!

Sunday, March 29:

Sailing conditions were more difficult today, starting with light, shifty wind out of the east. The wind gradually shifted north over the next few hours with 30-60 degree shifts back and forth. Great job RC for nearly uninterrupted racing despite the shifts! For the last 90 minutes of the day, the northerly wind built to a brisk breeze with rain, resulting in great sailing conditions to close out the regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
