Eleven teams lined up and tested their patience for a day of light air racing out on Lake Michigan off of Wilmette Harbor under partly cloudy skies. Sea state was flat (<1ft), and breeze was light (3-7kt) from the SE shifting to E throughout the late morning and into the afternoon. 4 races were completed, and a 5th was started but abandoned due to inadequate wind speed. Thank you to the Race Committee PRO Wes Madara, markset Joe Nedoss, and volunteers Nolan and Grey who assisted, to the the wonderful team at the Wilmette Harbor Club for letting us use their venue, to attending coaches, and to all the sailors and parents. Congratulations to Glenbrook North, Glenbrook South, and Evanston Township in placing 1st-3rd, respectively!
