Sailors were greeted by cool temperatures and light winds on the first day of the 2014 Art Johnson Invitational. Racing got underway at 10:00am in a shifty NNW breeze between 4-8mph. Four races were completed in each division before the wind shifted further west and became very unstable. Although the temperature increased throughout the day, the wind just continued to drop. Sailors were sent back to shore and racing was called for the day at 2:30pm. Two request for redress were filed - one was disallowed and the other was granted because of an equipment failure.
Sailors were treated to fantastic sailing conditions on day two with a great breeze out of the south at 10-15mph. Four more races were completed for a total of eight per division.
Special thanks to all of our parent volunteers for helping make the event a success, and congratulations to the Minnetonka Skippers for winning the 2014 Art Johnson Invitational!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
