Sixty-nine Northern California high school teams (34 Gold Fleet and 35 Silver Fleet) arrived at Encinal Yacht Club on Saturday morning, October 18th, to compete in Norcal #2. Racers relaxed ashore under postponement flag while awaiting the breeze to fill in on the Oakland-Alameda estuary. Racing commenced at 1330, with afternoon breezes of 5-8 knots from the WNW. Five races were completed by the Gold Fleet, and four by the Silver Fleet. Many thanks to the EYC volunteers for hosting an excellent event, both on and off the water
