SAISA South Points #2

Summary

Saturday, October 25:

Saturday's South Points #2 Regatta took place under beautiful sunny skies with variable winds from 9 to 15 knots. It was a perfect day for sailboat racing. In all, Race Committee managed 12 complete races, 6 in each of the A and B divisions. Starts were tight and the finishes close. As the host of the regatta, I was impressed with all the competitors. They showed care for the host property, cleaned up after themselves, took care and assisted with the boats that belonged to other teams, and were polite and appreciative of our volunteers. Coaches and parents, you should be proud.

Students - keep the great attitude, it shines bright to those watching. Whether your team placed at the top or the bottom, your participation and good attitude are the breeding ground for future success. Many thanks to the PRO Charlie MacNider and all the USSCMC volunteers who made the day a big success. Race Committee did a terrific job running setting perfect race courses in the midst of shifting winds. Thank you teams, for participating in South Point #2 at the USSCMC.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
