We lucked out with amazing wind and warm weather! Starting out in the cove, moving out into the lake, and finally moving once again closer to shore, as wind built during the day made for great racing and spectating.
Eight races in A and eight races in B were completed, a total of 118 sailors raced!
Thank you to all the wonderful teamwork from sailors, coaches and parents. We enjoyed sailing, friendships, and great food for our annual Halloween Regatta. This was our largest event, and hope to see you next year.
Congratulations to Spring Lake Red Mixed, Noah Walters and Caleb Boon,Bryson Hough,Ryan Navarre, Grosse Ile Scarlet, Ian Reimel,Michael Kalata, Faith Gaertner, Meghan Dieball, Neil Quinlan,and Cranbrook Green, Allison Glover, Laura Winegarden, Matthew Tan,Jami Male, for top overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Great finishes also in A division DCDS Ghost in 2nd, Harrison George and Kaya Donat. In B wining the division, Jacob Mackey and Max Rosenthal. In 3rd of B, Grosse Point South Yellow Mixed, Ashley Strong and Anna Carron.
