Sunday started with a talk from Dawn Riley discussing protest hearings, the Volvo Ocean Race (Whitbred), America's Cup, and of course Oakcliff Sailing. We postponed the rigging by about an hour until a storm system moved out. Racing took place in the mid-harbor channel of Black Rock Harbor. The wind was out of the Southwest, coming strait down the channel. Coaches and spare sailors were stationed on a moored Grand Banks just windward and 'starboard' of the starting line with coaches also invited to ride on the chase boats if they desired. We held 8 races ranging from 8 to 17 minutes in length averaging about 12 minutes. Wind was in excess of 20 knots during the wind delay before rigging and died to around 10 knots by 3 PM. Swells ranged from 6 inches to 2 feet.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
