College of Charleston Intersectional

Summary

Saturday, November 4:

Though the morning looked suspect as far as breeze when the teams arrived at the C of C sailing Center -after an hour postponement a nice 6-8 mph easterly filled in. PRO Ryan Davidson made a great the decision to set the course around to the south on Crab Bank. 9 races in each division were sailed in breeze from 5-12 mph. It was a great day of racing and Clear Falls leads the day with Ransome Everglades in second and Myers Park in third. Thanks again to PRO Ryan Davidson and his team of C of C Cougars for getting some great racing in over a short day! Sunday looks good with a nice 6-8 from the northeast!

Sunday, November 5:

Unfortunately Sunday morning greeted the sailors with a light 4mph Northerly that continued to die throughout the morning. After 4 postponements PRO Ryan Davidson made the wise decision to abandonment racing for the day at 12:30. Trophies were presented to team overalls 1,2 and 3 and low A and low B. Congrats to the Clear Falls in winning the event. Thank you again to all the C of C Cougars who helped manage the event and of course Ryan Davidson for managing some great racing on Saturday!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
