15 teams competed for the NYISA-SE Fall Fleet Racing Championship at Waterfront Center in Oyster Bay. Weather was beautiful with clear skies, 8-10 knots from the North. Thanks to Tom C. and Brent B. for running the races and coordinating the event. After 16 races, Rye HS came in on top by winning both A and B divisions. In 2nd was The Stony Brook School followed by a tie for 3rd & 4th between Oyster Bay HS and St. John the Baptist. According to the ISSA procedural rules, the tie breaker in a dual fleet regatta goes to the team with the better head-to-head results, and OBHS won the tie breaker. Congratulations and good luck to all moving on to the next level at Gold in Rochester, and Silver in Annapolis.
