SAISA Beaufort Open Regatta

Summary

Saturday, October 28:

Conditions were very light at the beginning of the regatta. 1-2 kts from the North. The race was delayed for several hours while we waited for the sea breeze to come in from the South. Once the RC saw the South wind start to fill in they launched the fleet. They quickly ran through two full rotations before it was too late to continue racing.

The race committee did a fantastic job with some tough conditions. A special thanks to the race committee, saftety boats, and judges for volunteering their time. Thanks to Junior Sailing of Beaufort for providing the boats. Also thanks to Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club for allowing us to host the event at their location.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
