The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta, hosted by the Golden Isles Community Sailing Center, was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Twelve teams competed. The forecast called for 15 knots of wind and scattered thunderstorms, but instead we had 5-10 knots of wind throughout the day, and only some light rain during the first hour of racing. Unfortunately, the wind direction oscillated up to 120 degrees every few minutes all day long, frustrating the race committee and sailors. But everyone persevered, and eight races in each division were completed. There were no protests. Congratulations to Beaufort High, taking first place in both divisions and overall! Many thanks to Brunswick Landing Marina, the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, and all the sailing team members, parents, and coaches who made the regatta possible.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
