2018-19 PCISA SoCal 3 Gold

Summary

Sunday, December 9:

We had a great day of sailing on Mission Bay. PRO Jimmer Montgomery, with the help of MBYC Junior Director Chris Wright, ran six fun and fair races for both gold (34 boats) and silver (36 boats) fleets. Winds were light and offshore early but by first signal at 11:00 a.m., the sea breeze began to fill in and remained steady at 5-8 knots through the first three races. High clouds moved in around 1:30, and the wind shifted right and picked up to 8-10 knots. This allowed even the bigger teams to sit on the rail and stretch their legs a bit as they flattened in the 12 knot puffs. Lots of smiles at the end of the day; thanks to all (we're looking at you, coaches and parents!) for helping to make the event a success.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
