The first challenge for the race committee was the forecast for wind at 3 MPH all day. As a qualifier for the ACC it was important to get to the threshold of three races in each division to make the regatta official. The first 2 races in the A division saw the wind holding out with manageable changes in velocity and direction. By the beginning of the B division races the wind had begun its movement from East to South. The courses were kept fair with some shifts on both sides. As the set progressed some significant lulls with periods of drifter conditions appeared. With the 3 race threshold in danger the decision was made to keep Division B out for a third race. A Division was able to struggle through the alternating light wind and lulls to complete their third race before racing has to be abandoned.
Congratulations to Fairfield Prep for winning, followed by Boothbay and Milton Academy. There were no protests.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
