On day 1 of the 2018 Great Oaks Regatta saw breeze from 5 to 10 from the north most of the day with calm seas. The RC ran 16 races. 8 in each division. The races were well run and lasted about 20 min per race. The racing was close. The competitors had a great time with no protest filed at the end of the day.
After a long day on a cold lake the sailors enjoyed Gumbo in the Grill at SYC.
The leaders in the red division is Newman - the leader of the other division is Lake Travis.
