Summary

Saturday, September 29:

Sailors arrived in Cascade Locks, Oregon to a healthy west breeze. Starting at 12 knots at 12:00 and building to 17 by 13:00. The breeze began tapering and held steady around 14 knots at 16:00 when sailors were sent in for the day. Kit Stoll almost set the picket fence for the day after 9 races and was comfortably in the lead.

Sunday, September 30:

Sunday morning, a fluky easterly greeted the sailors which soon filled to 12 knots with gusts to 14. 3 Races were completed in this breeze before the breeze suddenly died and shifted North. Racing was postponed until the breeze filled back from the east at 6 to 8 knots. Congrats to Kit Stoll who held off a comeback from Conrad Miller to qualify for nationals! Good luck in Michigan.
