The Casco Bay Open was sailed under sunny skies and varying wind conditions. The morning races were sailed in 16 knots of Northerly wind at the start of the ebb tide. As the day wore on the wind shifted left and gradually decreased in strength as the ebb tide strengthened producing some challenging conditions. Many sailors were late at the starts as the ebb tide increased.
Congratulations to Barrington High School for winning the regatta in very good form. Thanks also go the Falmouth High School parents and Andrea Mittleider for providing an excellent breakfast and lunch. Thanks also to Jessica Cole Falmouth parent coordinator for organizing a great regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
