First of all, a big thanks to all the volunteers and parents that helped make this regatta a success!
The day started with a chilly 45 degree morning and winds around 8 knots. The breeze quickly grew to a strong 15 knots and sailors were challenged to keep the boat flat in the cool breeze. In the afternoon the sun slowly did its job and warmed the air as temperatures rose to 65 degrees.
With a large fleet of 21 boats and numerous capsizes, only 5 races were sailed in each division, but it was quality racing! Sailors got off the water at 3 pm.
