The NJISA's Fall Team Race Championship saw another day of light northeast breeze to see who would advance to the MASSA Team Race Championship. The full 30 races in two rounds were completed, along with a 31st race as a sail-off for second place.
When all was said and done, the Ranney Panthers went a perfect 10-0 on the day. Southern Regional (7-3) was victorious in the sail-off race against Rumson-Fair Haven (7-3) to finish in second place.
There were plenty of volunteers that made this day possible, including: Mitchell Nunn and Nick Rinaldi on the start boat, John Groskoph on the finish boat, Dr. Randy Nunn as the mark boat, and the Lavallette scow sailing trio of Dave Magno, Paul Magno, and Tim Faranetta as the on-water judges. Additional thanks to Mike Ehnot and Clay Johnson for lending their RIBs as judge boats. As always, thanks to TRYC and OCC for providing the facility and fleet.
