NJISA Wed Series Five

Summary

Wednesday, October 10:

The fifth week of the NJISA Fall Wednesday Series saw 18 teams from 13 schools complete eight races before the increasingly early sunset. All eight W4 races were sailed in a southerly breeze ranging from six to 12 knots, with the breeze lessening as the sun slowly disappeared around 6:00 p.m.

For the second time this fall, Rumson-Fair Haven won the day with 20 points. Southern Regional followed in second with 28 points, breaking a tie with third place Ranney School. Southern Regional won a tie with RFH for the top spot in A Division, while RFH edged Ranney for first in B Division.

Thanks to Sailorcise's Matt and Rachel Goetting for running this week's races. As always, TRYC and OCC graciously provided the facility and fleet.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
