NJISA Wed Series One

Summary

Wednesday, September 12:

Thirteen schools, accounting for 18 boats, sailed an abbreviated first week of the NJISA Fall Wednesday Series. With the wind light and variable when the sailors arrived, there was a 45-minute postponement before getting the first race started. The breeze remained light from the northeast direction, but was sailable for four short races.

The Ranney School enjoyed a "straight bullets" day, winning each of the four races to finish in the lead. Rumson-Fair Haven was second, followed by Trinity Hall in third.

Thanks to CBA's Jody Lutz for running the races and Dave Magno for serving as mark boat. As always, thanks to OCC and TRYC for the use of the fleet and facilities.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
