The first New Orleans Yacht Club Girls regatta got started on time with five boats in each division from three schools. Temps were in the 80s under partly cloudy skies. Wind started light and shifty out of the east before settling in at about 10 mph out of the north. Four races were sailed in each division before thunderstorms forced all teams to head back at 1:30.
