Seven NW high schools competed in this year’s keelboat qualifer to be the team to represent NWISA at the ISSA keelboat regatta
After a 11am start, 2 races were competed in a 3-5 mph east north east breeze. Race three was started but was abandoned after the wind shut off. After a short postponement a 5-10 mph northerly settled in and the final 5 races were completed in great conditions. Going into race 7, Olympia and Gig Harbor were tied with 11 points, leading to an exciting last race!
Big thanks to SYC for providing the J22s, Ben Glass, Joe Williams, SSP for providing RC support.
Congrats to the Gig Harbor Tides on the hard fought win. Best of luck at the nationals!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
