The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta, hosted by the Golden Isles Community Sailing Center, was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Ten schools had registered, but Atlanta Classical no showed due to illness, and Bishop Kenny also brought a JV team, so we ended up with ten teams competing. Wind was very, very light, never more than 5 knots, much of the time probably only 2 knots, and from all over the compass. Fortunately, the current is insignificant at this venue, and we were still able to hold races. It took over five hours to complete just eight difficult races, until the wind became so light and the gnats so relentless that we called it a day. There were no protests. Congratulations to Episcopal School of Jacksonville, taking first place in A division and overall, and Wando High, first in B division! Many thanks to Brunswick Landing Marina, the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, and all the sailing team members, parents, and coaches who made the regatta possible.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
