2019-20 PCISA SoCal 2 Gold

Summary

Saturday, November 2:

Thanks to everyone for coming to BCYC for our second SoCal of the season! Host team Mater Dei (with support from BCYC Junior Sailing Director Aubrey Mayer and MD lead parent Denise Petersen) put on a great regatta; sailors and coaches especially enjoyed the tasty breakfast burritos on offer during registration and the complimentary pizza served during trophies. Conditions were challenging--very light winds started off shifty but eventually developed into a contestable 5-7 knot sea breeze--but PRO Cameron MacLaren (with help from wonder dog Dakota) adeptly handled matters and ran six fair races for each fleet (27 boats in gold and 24 in silver). Thanks again to host venue Bahia Corinthian and to everyone else for making the day a success. Next up: SoCal 3 at Southwestern Yacht Club on December 14th!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
