After a short postponement on the water due to light conditions and steady rain, 4 races were completed throughout the day in Gold A/B and Silver A/B. Racing began in a SE breeze at 3-5mph around noon. The wind clocked far left throughout the day with the last racing of the day happening in a near due easterly, odd conditions for Lake Washington.
Racing began mostly ontime in a 5mph ESE breeze. Wind shifted further south as the day went on as rain came into the area. Some larger gusts were recorded, but for the most part the wind remained in the 5-8mph range. 5 races were completed in A and B: Gold and 4 races in A and B: Silver
Race 9B started right at the 1500 deadline and sailors embarked on a 12 minute I2 course to finish out the regatta.
Congrats to the Lakeside Lions for the overall victory and the Western Washington Vikings for place as the top college team.
