I would like to thank all the teams, coaches and parents who attended the Casco Bay Fall Open. The day started with very light winds from the east northeast. The 10 am start time was postponed to eleven am. The breeze clocked around to southeast at 4 knots the racing commenced. During the day the breeze continued to veer to a southwesterly. The racing was characterized by an oscillating-persistent shift to the right that presented many opportunities to cerebral sailors to capitalize on gains on the race course. "A" division saw very tight competition with only one point separating first from second. "B" division was dominated by the Falmouth "B" skipper.
