Saturday was perfect weather for the Catholic Cup, and this is the third year that Sacred Heart and Fairfield University (two Catholic institutions in Fairfield, CT) have hosted this high school regatta in hopes of recruiting new members as college students. Although the wind was very shifty throughout the day, the sailors did an excellent job handling the conditions. And as their reward, Frank Pepe's pizza was served on land after racing, as were free ice cream cones of the Sail Black Rock specialty flavor. Dave White and Peter Coleman, the two coaches of the two Catholic universities, did a great job of hosting this regatta and ensuring that everyone had a great day!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
