17 teams from 16 schools arrived at the Sailing Center Chesapeake on a slightly overcast day. To keep rotations simpler and remain in protected water for newer sailors, races were run in Herring Creek, adjacent to the Tall Timbers Marina. A southerly breeze kept the course well filled through most of the day, with some occasional "messy" conditions (as one of my sailors put it) near the windward mark. Six races were completed in each division to complete a good day of racing.
The Unregistered MASSA team is Washington Latin.
