15 teams from across mitten were in attendance for this year's Michigan State Doublehanded Championships! Weather was nice, with mostly sunny skies and temps in the 60s. Winds were primarily SSE @ 5-10 throughout the day with some big oscillations and changes in pressure across the course. Nonetheless, the race committee team did a fantastic job of staying on top it and managed to complete a total of 20 races(10/division) before the 5pm cut-off time.
Thanks to all the coaches, competitors, and volunteers for making the regatta a success and congratulations to Grosse Pointe South on being your 2019 MI State Doublehanded Champions!
Looking forward to seeing everyone back on Lake Mac tomorrow for the Singlehanded Championships and Sunday Funday Regatta.
