15 Laser Radial sailors from across the Michigan battled it out on Lake Macatawa today for the 2019 Singlehanded State Championship. After a short delay on shore, the breeze eventually settled in from the NNW between 5-10k with some pretty big oscillations. A total of six races were completed, with just a few points separating the top three going into the last race of the day. In the end it was Novi's Michael Kirkman who finished with a total of 11p points to claim the championship. No protest filed. Huge thanks to everyone who traveled to Mac Bay this weekend and to everyone who helped make the regatta a success!
