NJISA 2019 Fall Series 2

Summary

Wednesday, September 18:

Twelve schools, making up 17 teams, completed eight races on the second Wednesday of the NJISA Fall Series. The puffy, shifty northeast breeze gave the sailors different afternoon conditions to race in. The northeast breeze called for a W3 for the second race of each division's set.

Rumson-Fair Haven won the day by three points over second place Toms River North. Third place Christian Brothers and fourth place Southern Regional were both within 10 points of the lead in a close day of racing. RFH won the A Division, while Toms River North won the ultra-close B Division, with the top four B teams separated by two points.

Thanks to new Ranney coach Kyle Magno for running the start boat and CBA's Jody Lutz for setting the marks and taking upwind finishes. TRYC and OCC graciously provided the facility and fleet.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
