Summary

Sunday, October 6:

Four NJISA teams arrived at TRYC early this morning for the first official league team race regatta of the fall season. The skies were cloudy, with a southerly breeze of 8-10 knots that gradually built to about 12 knots.

Two rounds were completed for a total of 12 races. The Rumson - Fair Haven Bulldogs took their winning fleet racing streak to team racing with a 6-0 record for the day. The Christian Brothers Academy Colts had a 3-3 record, beating the Ranney Panthers 3-3 record on a tie-breaker. The Donovan Catholic Griffins finished in 4th place with their 0-6 record.

Thank you to Dave Magno, Tim Faranetta and Jordan Murphy for serving as umpires with Brian Hull running the TRYC boat. Thank you to the Schmelz family for the use of their powerboat for umpires. OCC’s Scowdrel served as the start boat and Mike Ehnot took finishes from the OCC Rib.

As always, thank you to TRYC and OCC for the use of their facilities and fleet of boats.
