The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta, hosted by the Golden Isles Community Sailing Center, was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Nine teams competed, including a JV team from Bishop Kenny. The weather was just about perfect; wind was northeast at about 10 knots with gusts out of the east at 15 knots, and the rain held off until the last race when we had just a sprinkle. All 18 races were completed by 3:00. Congratulations to Wando High, taking first place in both divisions and overall! And many thanks to Brunswick Landing Marina, the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, and all the sailing team members, parents, and coaches who made the regatta possible.
