Mobile Bay HS Fall #5

Partly Cloudy and Sunny in the upper 70's. Light Southerly breeze to begin. The teams got off two races before the wind died. Race committee abandoned race 3 while all boats were no further than halfway up an upwind leg and fighting an incoming tide. 30 minutes later, the wind filled out from the North by Northwest, and it went from dead to blowing 25kts and gusting 30. One boat retired while the others stuck it out to race. Three boats were able to complete two more races to close out the day.
