The abbreviated NJISA Fall Wednesday Series got underway with 15 teams from 11 schools. Eight W4 races were completed in west-southwest breeze that ranged from 10 knots to a dying wind as the sun set.
Donovan Catholic won the day by six points over second place Ranney. Toms River North, CBA and Donovan Catholic 2 rounded out the top-five. Ranney won A division, while Donovan topped B division. One team was penalized for not wearing team pinnies and one breakdown was awarded for a broken hiking extension.
Thanks to Donovan’s Brian Hull for running today’s races, Dave Magno for patrolling the course, TRYC for use of the facilities, and the BBYRA for supplying the FJs.
