MISSA Girls Qualifier

Summary

Saturday, September 25:

It was a beautiful fall day for high school sailing on Lake Minnetonka! We saw breeze 6 - 14mph from the W - SW. The race committee was able to complete 12 races, 6 in A Division and 6 in B Division. We plan to complete the full round robin tomorrow. First warning, 9:30am.

One protest was filed in race 4 A. New Trier was issued a DSQ.

Sunday, September 26:

It was light air racing today on Lake Minnetonka! 8 races total were completed. We saw variable conditions with breeze 3 - 7mph.

Congratulations Walter Payton on winning the event! The top four teams will advance to the PCISA Girls Invitational in San Diego, CA. Any teams who are interested in attending the PCISA Girls and did not finish in the top four, please email MISSA (sailingmissa@gmail.com) to express your interest in competing.
