The high school sailing season is finally underway in New Orleans after the first two Fridays of the Fall Series were cancelled because of Hurricane Ida. Wind was south at about 10-15mph under mostly cloudy skies with comfortable temperatures in the low 80s. Windward-leeward twice around courses were sailed.
